Hello BU people, there is a new mod for UT2004 for you to play with
The actual release is a first beta of our mod, most things are finished and ready but the mod still requires some additions to be fully completed

Beta 2 now available with pickups, hud, instagib mutator and most importantly full multiplayer support

Just in case my images are fixed but for some reason BU Forum refuses to display them when I use their proper BB code the links are clickable and the html code should work, I think.

Could use less gratuitous particle balls (less as in ZERO OF THEM) It's so distracting to fire one pulse or asmd just to see LOTS OF BOUNCY BALLS come off the impact, instead of something familiar and small like a spinning flare or a shockwave expanding. It also has the side effect of making shots feel like water, like UT2003's assault/pulse rifle impact looking like weak splashes

I will try to see that with bloodshot12 as he's the one who made the particle effects.

I'm hyped. The video feels so weird though. The old weapons and sounds with the younger engine, models and maps, the mix is uncanny!
Although from the look of it, the pickup Armor is less impressive than say the Pulse rifle.

I have updated the first thread, now the images appear as they should and the videos as well
