Offline: replacing a bot after you have died

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

i have no clue as to how the unreal engine would handle this, but it would be great if upon dying in single player, you replaced a bot from your team, a'la Rainbow Six. what do people think?

Realism is good, but fun is god.

Sounds good to me. That way, you can play more than one person without having to set respawn counter(which results in bots respawning as well, and you don't always want that). But somehow UT doesn't allow you to do that. Maybe it's because UT is a team-based game where your teammates are supposed to have minds of their own, and that's not a bad thing. :)
