If you need help finding a file for UT.....I can usually help! You need a certin UT .utx file?? or a Bonus Pack 4 and don`t know were to find it?? Or mabee your looking for the SF mod and can`t find it....I`m the guy to ask!!
I`m no expert, but I sure like to help out UT players trying to get game!!! And I have a verry large UT file archive.
Just ask the Rukee!!!

Thanks Rukee for serving up my Tgun test map last night.
Looks like no netplay problems exsist other than that annoying muzzle flash if the owner is killed while firing and the weapon is picked up :p But that also showed up in practice.

Your DE.u is of wrong version. You should consider replacing it with an official version. There are one or two servers that have this mismatch and Your's was one of them. The DE.u is part of the 436 update.

And, that thompson really rocks. I tested it with my Alpha server which has the network analyzer connected (hardware analyzer) and found no special increase in traffic while that weapon was in use. Very good work !

That "ting, ting, ting" sound you heard in the test map was prolly the bullets hitting the steel doors.
Bullet Life = 1.5 seconds or 3 hits, whatever comes first.
So there is a ricochet and a nasty kick when firing.
Try it out in Morpheus (low gravity).
Just don't fire straight down or you'll shoot yourself in the nuts.
And don't go running around uncocked "Click" %$#@!

/me scrambels to install 436 patch on server machine

T-Man...what was up with that weapon?? It would only fire like three shots then I`d have to hit the secondary fire...what`s that do?? reload?? Should fire rep[eadily untill out of shells.

Should continue until you lift up on your fire button,
then "Yes" you need to cock it before firing again.
1 thing, the pickup only holds 10 rounds, at 5/sec that goes pretty quick.
The ammos give 20 rounds with a max of 50.
It was a question of "balance of power".
Try it again...
Maybe after you install 436 eh?

i think this is a problem on rukees server! i tried to play him and i got the same error. maybe if he updates his ut on the server it will work

I don`t know why my servers doing that. I just did a fresh install with the 436 patch and the bonus packs. anyway to answer your question.


*Close UT
*Click start
*click find files
*type in de.u
*search in "C" drive or what ever drive you have UT in
*rename de.u to whatever you want....de.e or something
*close out of that
*start UT
*join my server again and you will get my vertion.


You will not harm your system and will be able to join all the other servers ypou always play....so just go ahead and rename it.

its an audio bootleg version from the beatles remixed by fatboy slinm. at a quality of 128 kbs and a size from 15 mb... i cant get it maybe you can....
