LDW, don't leave. I agree with you about war, but I dont leave a place just because someone disagrees. Please don't. Again I agree with you about how bad war is, and I want peace, so even if someone dont see the truth about "justice," or dont agree on something, that doesnt mean I will get pissed at them for their views and run. If you truly want peace, you gotta respect other peoples opinions, though you may know they are wrong. it aint worth it. dont leave. Hell yeah, I would know life sucks and when theres a problem or nobody understands what point I try to bring up, I feel like giving up hope and running away from my probs. But Don't run away from them. That is what will also cause the end of our civilization, is people running from eachother because they dont agree with them. And when I grow up, I'm gonna TRY to put an end to hate based on race, religion, hate based on ANYTHING. I won't do it by force, but I'll TRY. And there are thousands of other people out there who feel the exact same way. In fact the people up in Berkeley, CA. All DISLIKE this government and feel the same way you do. They even get in fights with skinheads.

Well, most of us would like to see her come back. LDW you just have to accept the fact that everyone cannot agree with you. Yes, some will post messages that will upset you, but then again, there are a lot of people who enjoy your presence.

You aren't leaving those you dislike...you are leaving those who enjoy your company. Not very fair...is it?

This is now the second time BuF as a whole has been insulted and threatened with her leaving, that I know of anyway.

I still remember that one line after that whole flare123 crapola:

"Goodbye PuF. You won't be missed in the least." After a few rather unflattering things about us as a whole. Does anyone else remember that as vividly as I do?

you need to read the first post again, if you start off negative you get negative, if she had said, "I just can't agree with anyone here so I am leaving" that would have been much better recieved than insulting differing viewpoints.

I would say that, but not because I don't have pubes, but because SOME guys have a relationship for other things and not only sex... And yet I would agree if you said that most fourteen year old girls like attention... I should know... I'm in class with 25 fifteen year old ones...

LDW, you can't run away whenever things aren't going your way. "Stand and fight". If you're leaving because of the whole anti-war vs pro-war discussion, well, I hope you don't mind me giving you a few tips:

1. Learn to "agree to disagree". When you've reached a stalemate in any argument just say that you "agree to disagree" and move on.

2. Learn to let the subject drop...even though you may have something more to say on the matter. I have done this a few times out of respect towards the person that I was debating with, and/or if it was pointless to pursue the subject any further (i.e. nothing good can come out in pursuing the argument).

3. Stand for what you believe in. But at the same time be open and be willing to listen to other people's arguments.

Look at this this way, if ALL the people that you interact with were exactly like you, wouldn't it be...dull?

And don't be shy to come back even though you've made your goodbye speech. Many people here will be glad if you decide to come back. If you're angry at those who said bad things about you, well if they don't care about you, why should you care about them, right? Like Proph said, you aren't leaving those you dislike...you are leaving those who enjoy your company.
