Changing Teams via console commands

I've asked this in other forums and usually get a bunch of quick responses, which sound great until I try them and they don't work. So, do me a favor and try wehat you suggest before you suggest it.

Playing CTF, or any team game: Is there a way I can change from the Red Team to the Blue Team without manually going to my player configuration? Can I type in some kind of command that automatically switches me to the other team?

Just type in NextTeam, eh?

Seem simple enough.
