somewhere; sometime?
It would be neat to find something like that around Tokyo.

Tokyo? The place seems way too gaudy for that.

Maybe you'd find something more similar after taking a stroll around Nagasaki or Hiroshima...
then again those cities are probably all fixed up with neon like everything else in Japan since the end of the war. I wouldn't know since my only Asian experience has come from China.

Yeah, it's going to be doubtful you could find anything like that here. Everything gets torn down and then something built in it's place right after that.

To be fair though, how much time do you dedicate to looking at the colour of surveillance camera?

Fair enough that if you notice a camera, and so to say a yellow one, it will be remembered.
BTW didn't they tried to have a law against that ****? IE No photographing police/Surveillance cams ETC in the UK?

There was a law passed in February to prevent people taking photos of police officers, afaik it doesn't cover cctv as well, although there are billboards like this one about http://jamesholden.net/billboard/

Not all cameras are state owned, the majority are on private buildings. They cost around £1000+ each, so it's a lot cheaper than training and hiring more police :p Most of them just sit there recording, there isn't necessarily a security person monitoring them at all times. The large beige/white boxy ones and dome cameras like this one are usually not private.

Not much :) but if the colors eye catching then its hard to miss it.

Btw, Slain the pic with the CCTV and the Pigeon are downright spectacular and as pine said it, your composition is great indeed.
