When I first heard Britney Spears's first song I went 'Woohoo! She can sing!' (well, not word for word :))

. Unfortuantely, she just sings basically the same song over and over again with different words. Er... what I'm trying to say is that you could tell a Britney Spears song even if someone different sung it.

Maybe it's actually a blessing that Slim Shady doesn't thing. Just listening to him talk is bad enough... he probably has the singing voice of a constipated elephant

Why not be controversial? No-one on this forum is going to go round to your house and beat you up or something. Very few of us know much about each other outside their PC (I guess). Forums like these are a blessing because you can basically say wtf you want. If someone doesn't like it, they can either flame you (again, mostly safely) or ignore it.

If anyone discovers what the Universe is for, and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarrely inexplicable.

How can you tell what is good music and what is bad music? All I know is "I like Eminem, I like Dr. Dre, and I like Britney" I hate prefabricated boy bands & the like, but that's not the point.

There needs to be music out there for everyone, just as there needs to be different cars or golf clubs or whatever. If Eminem is rubbish then no one will buy it, but they do and we should let people do what they want, or else what would be the point in living?

Music is, indeed, a very personal thing (and yet people still review it for some reason). However, there are some songs which only a few people like, and these could be called bad songs. I thought that no-one would like someone talking to a rhythm, even if it is vaguely funny. Anyway, if Slim wants to be funny, why doesn't he become a poet? Then he wouldn't have to be distracted by a rhythm, and we could make out every single word.

Could someone tell me who has the album (or at least his CD cover) - does Slim write his own songs? See if somewhere on the cover it says 'Lyrics: Joe Bloggs'. If he just reads out what someone else has written, that surely makes him crap

Mc's are poets ... its poetry ..there poems
and he does wright his own shtuff, its not that hard. And the rythem doesnt distract him silence would be more distracting and if you had any appreceation for hip hop or some respect for that which you dont know about im sure youd find the patience to open your ears which are obviously 2 ace and hear what he's saying.

He pisses me right off, I cant get his catchy beats and technically humouros verses outta my mind!.

Hes an excellent MC who just dont give a f@ck. I can imagine 75% of his audience are full of sh!t little wannabe bad rich kids though.

HipHop is poetry.
The Rythem helps, silence would be a distraction.
And if you had some respect for stuff you dont know about you would have the patience to appreciate it and also get what he is saying.
He does write his stuff it aint that hard to tell.
If he did read someone else stuff that would make em crap but if you did get what he was saying then u would realise that a person like that would do his own sh!t.
