Lag on Multiplayer, even on LAN with all Bots

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Okay I have a PII233 Creative Labs 12mb Voodoo2 64MB RAM computer, but I get this problem no matter what video mode I'm in.

For some reason whenever I start up a multiplayer game or play online i get horrible lag, like a 1 second like on everything, usually more, I cant even move, but the game offline is fine, but not on LAN or net, and it's not my video card, all modes play equally sucky.
If you know what is wrong PLEASE!!!! email me at Psi9179@aol.com, or Im me at the same name, or just reply to this post.

If your connecting through AOL it's not gonna work to well. AOLs' no good for online gaming. Try some other ISPs, most of them have a free trial so you don't have to cancel until you find one you like better.

Here's some sights that can help you tweak your modem for better gaming speed:

Also make sure you have the right connection speed checked off in options/preferences/network.
Good luck. /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif
