The WIP Screenshot Thread!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. A little [more?] fog would also increase the credibility of the light beams. In reality, the few places I see light beams are either where there's a ton of dust in the air, or a little moisture to catch the lighting, otherwise it just looks like a spot light.

Neat outdoor shots.
The indoor shots show that you need to look at lighting, though. It hurts my eyes looking at them. I would downplay on the extreme contrast you have going on in there, and add more light.

Agreed. The high contrast post-processing gives and interesting effect, but it is just too much for a playable map. This could be a case where a custom post-process material would help, but I am not sure there is any way to build one into a map.

Well I was just experimenting with a new post processing setting... but I'll keep playing with it.

very atmospheric Thrallala but a little too much bloom. Love the colour.

The lighting is functional not finished :D
I may convert this to DOM and JB if I can.
My Degree course starts very soon so not much free time. :D

I must say I love both looks of them. I always like as much the soft, natural, organic looking maps & very constrastful maps. Some don't like the high contrast of your Conveyor but I do like it. Will have to play it to really see if it's playable on my screen but just by the look, personnaly, I love them both :)

A Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway map I'm working on. The design is by Gearbox(It's a level they showed at E3 2006, but it didn't make the final cut and that pissed many fans off because it looked so awesome.)

I'm 3 days into development. The first street is done in terms of layout. Now I'm gonna focus on decoration, lighting and scripting.
