I can play UT for about 10 minutes then the screen locks up and goes crazy colours. I have reinstalled many times and even changed my 3D card with no luck. Tried different resolutions nothing works.

I have tried all different versions all no good.
Forgot to mention I just got a new hard drive. Worked fine on old HD.

Sounds like a heat problem. We might rule out the vid card since, as you said, have had it changed.
I don't know the "default" speed for the K6 but make sure it is not OCed.
