A handshake is how you greet somebody you work with. If you're talking about a real friend, hugs are the best. I'm a proponent of strong manly hugs between male friends. :B:tup:

When I first met someone I normally just nod and smile and say "hello" and "nice to meet you".

But if it's someone I know they get huge hugs and sometimes kisses. Depending on the circumstance.

And if they are asshats then normally a "f*%k you". And or a spit in the face.
