INFILTRATION FOR T2

Since this was elsewhere...a quick note.

1) A migration to Tribes2 would involve a huge amount of work (new maps for one!).

2) A migration to Unreal2 (the upgraded Unreal engine to some) would take infinitely less work and it looks as if the U2 engine is going to kick ass outdoors as well.

3) Feel free to return this mod to get your MONEY back.

Chill and wait.

Thought tribes 2 was buggy?

And completely different code there, it would take the team a good long time to fix it up for t2, t3 would be out soon when Inf got finished.

Putting on the Unreal 2 engine would be better, because its the same code, just tweaked extensively- not as long to port.

Besides, it wouldn't be nice of Infiltration to make Strike Force: T2 look bad.

T2 is a gameplay game, not a realism game. Editing levels for T2 is a little more complex than UnrealEd. Coding for T2 requires learning one more programming language(Go easy on Beppo, he's a genius). T2 engine is a fast one, but UT engine is not that bad. T2 contains vehicles, INF is going to have them too. So far all mods for it's predecessor, Tribes, sucked except two, which were GAMEPLAY mods.

I think I made my point.

a very simple reason

Tribes 2 has not been ported to the Mac.

afaik, Tribes 2 is not going to be ported to the Mac.

therefore, i am against moving INF to the Tribes 2 engine.
