if this is already discussed i didn't say anything but i think it would be cool if you can
climb trees... (would be cool for snipers!)
and climb in windows...

yup i love it, the guys from urban terror (the only mod featuring climbing as far as i know ) are also adding a 3rd persona nimation in their next patch.

It would look quite good on inf.

No you walk around it, soldiers don't jukmp because you loose your footing and your ability to fire, you make yourself a bigger target and you cannot take cover or retaliate while jumping.

You're running down a track in a jungle. There's a fallen log in the way, about as high as your knee. Do you walk around it?

I agree though, that jumping on top of crates and up off the rails in Flagstaff etc. is crap, and climbing should replace that. Perhaps the jump button should make the player climb if there is a lege, but jump if there is nothing to grab onto nearby.
