How to dual-boot a machine ?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I used to use Partition Magic before. What's usually being used for multi-booting these days ?

Install lunax mint after windows, you get dual bot. That is easiest.
Or install GRUB from lunax live CD.

Buy tray-less HDD drive bay and another HDD. Install 2nd OS on new HDD. Swap out HDDs and therefore OS as you please. Enjoy.
Disadvantage: Costs money, it's more work to switch OS and doing it often will wear out the disk connectors, no data sharing.
Advantage: No fiddling with boot loaders, you can't fuck up one OS from within the other, no data sharing (yep, that's on both lists).
