My disappointment with U2 was not because of other's reviews, hype or any other outside influence.
My disappointment came from the simple fact that it was not as good as U1.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 8 hours or so of Unreal 2 gameplay I got. Yes, I was disappointed that there was no multiplayer at the time, but hey, it's coming now, and it's looking great. Finally, a reason to put that CD back in the drive and play again!
