I need to make broken bits of machinery fall down continuously and make clanging noises when they hit the floor.

So I made a mesh emitter, and made a physical material with an impact sound. This material is applied to a static mesh cube which is converted to a
Kactor as per the instructions here: http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/PhysicalMaterial.html
The cube is near the floor.

- this works, static mesh particles collide with the cube and each particle collision makes a sound, however it only does it the first 15 or so particles then stops making sound. The particles continue to collide and the cube is taking a pounding and gradually being driven into the floor

Any ideas how to fix???? Is there some total number of collisions the physical material or cube can cope with, that can be increased ?
