Cozmo has put together a couple of awesome help guides for learning Onslaught. The guides are located on a message board, which also allows new threads and posts. Here is a very small portion from the site:
3.) If you use your “use” key on your team’s power nodes you can travel between all friendly power nodes. On the map that pops up, left click on a node to teleports you there, and right click to set it as your default place to respawn. On the map ONS-Torlan there is a grey marker on the top of the hill (near the Raptor/Manta/Keg spawn) that will act as a power node for teleportation purposes only.
4.) NEVER use the AVRiL to attack infantry. Unless you hit them directly (which is very rare) it won’t do [relatively] any damage. In the time it takes to fire a few AVRiL shots, any decent player would have been able to kill you with his shield gun.
5.) Stop the redeemer at all costs. You can shoot the redeemer out of the air with any weapon (as can you with the AVRiL rockets). It can take out one node and everyone near it, so make sure it doesn’t have a chance to go off.
6.) Don’t waste the redeemer on people. Save it for a node! There are also a few advanced tricks and tips in the guides, so even if you think you are "teh 133t" at Onslaught, be sure to drop by the site here.
