Life lessons learned from video games

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

All dungeon owners would rather store weapons peppered throughout the rooms lying in plain sight rather than locking them all in an armory.

L4D2 taught me that although .01% of the USA even knows WTF cricket is, there are cricket bats lying around everywhere.

In most games you can carry around half a ton of ammo without it affecting your walking speed.

(Thread derailment in 3...2.....1...)

Along a similar vein, the lightest cast iron pot in Skyrim weighs 3 units. Given that the starting carry weight is 300, you can carry a grand total of 100 cast iron pots without affecting walking speed. And this isn't even taking account of how much volume the pots take up.
