I (think) I saw somewhere that the next development the unreal engine was dropping support for Glide and OpenGL. Is this true?
If so that would leave me running it in software rendering (vodoo banshee).

The current engine in UT has crap support for OpenGL already. I'm not sure what the glide drivers are like.

They do support D3D, which is what I'm using now, and it's okay. I'm sure it'll also be supported along with 3dfx, their bedmates, so I wouldn't worry about having to use software rendering.
