One of my friends from college was mega into this cartoon called Inyoyashu. She had posters and mango books on them, it was rather funny to try walking into the room and not step on one of those things. I even watched the show once or twice with her. TBH I had no idea what was going on, but there was a lot of shouting and killing demons, so it was all good.

The point I was trying to get out much like a turd after I eat a double whopper is that there is really nothing wrong with watching anime, and I know a lot of attractive girls that watch it so that kind of is against what Jacks said. but for reals, I don't really watch any anime TV shows. they're just too low budget for my taste, like characters never blink and their mouths form words like a puppet (open, close, open, close). what I'm into is anime movies which started after watching the original Ghost in the Shell and Akira when I was around 13 years old.
for the record, my buddy Joe had me watch the Cowboy Bebop feature length movie. since it was coming from a TV series, I was worried I wouldn't like it the way I enjoy standalone films. however it passed my expecatations. and it wouldn't make me follow the show, but it was a good movie.
I think the only serious thing I said in that post is about the fact that most girls wouldn't know how to dress up and/or act like anime if you wanted to RP during sex. of course, that's just girls I know, it's not a blanket statement.
