"Turkish Kebabs" as you know them actually come from Berlin (a man called Kadir Nurman is credited for their invention). The vast majority of the meat and equipment used to produce it also comes from Germany.

yeah, I've seen the Tokyo Kebab wagon parked in Shibuya. I wouldn't eat there and I've seen some real grubby Döner-Huts here in Berlin.
Btw. if you're ever in Berlin, eating at Kadirs' Restaurant, Hasir, is a good idea to eat a good Kebab.
