This is a brand new system being used in the field for the first time. Give 'em a little time to make sure it's working correctly. BTW, that's all this this was - a systems test, not a serious attempt at science. Give 'em a little time before you jump to the conspiracy theories.

Bah and rats! I hate basalt. It's a boring rock... 'course given Mars is the "Red Planet" this should be no surprise to anybody given Basalt's tendency to rust.

Need more laser drilling on more rocks for a bigger sample size.
