It is amazing that people have to work up there sometimes. The only thing worse would have been the folks who had to build that thing in the first place.

Yeah, this is pretty cool, but it's watching Alex Honnold that gives me the creeps.

This vid makes it look easy, but he's climbing a 5.12a, which is REALLY FREAKING TOUGH, 2,000ft. No elevators up most of the way, no ladders and no clips for opportune rests. There is a 29min version (on a DVD called First Ascent) that really shows it in detail. It makes me queasy every time I see it. This man is a god.
