And back in 19th century they talked about Intellectual Property in completely different contexts and didn\t abbreviate it as "IP" which in the network really stands for Internet Protocol.

you forgot to mention how he calls people beancounters when he's counting beans. If anything at all, the people who can differentiate between IP and IP using context are more flexible :)
