how do you "punch holes "into walls?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Thanks for the advice about my last post!

I had yet to learn how to punch holes, I know it has something to do with makeing a brush where to hole is to be, and then intersecting (de-intersecting?) and the either adding or subtracing, but I've yet to get it to work right.

I had at one point made a sqare room (a hollow brush) with a hole, but it seemed to an "edge" around it on the inside and out side of the room.

What should I be doing? Also, after I made the hole, I could not place any playerstart actors! Is this because the level was not fully enclosed?

again thanks for the help earier!
