I think you're talking about synchronous? Well, business-class SDSL ($249 a month) is synchronous, has guaranteed uptime and bandwidth, pings under 10 to the gateway, etc.
That sucks Nep. But i am indeed talking about SDSL or xDSL how its is called here.
We get for our DSL lines here for now 1024/256 but there will next year be an 1024/1024 version available too.
But it costs not near that 250 Bucks, bout 200 Guilders, is about 80 US Dollar each month.
But cable went here down from highspeeds to total crap in a few months, KPN our biggest phone provider here, has now a few new concurents, but their all loose quickly goodwill, due bad service, bad line etc.
