[edit] seriously, the japanese army made such crushing attacks against the brits and chinese during WW2 because of it's mass use of bicycles. They could travel quite fast compared to troops on foot and (in comparison to other means of transportation) very stealthily. Something like this while obviously a joke wouldn't be unthinkable, give it larger softer rounder tires and voila a fast and light form of transportation.
