So a guy crossed an imaginary line, and some guys in silly costumes got upset and kidnapped him. Then the bigger and badder guys in silly costumes got upset at the first ones.

I stopped reading after that.

Faux news drama llamas at it again. or more like always I guess.
As I understand it... Obama's intent supposedly was to facilitate legal channels to enter this country and free up ICE for dangerous criminals. Legally speaking he should be subject to the laws of the country he is in. ICE should have apologized for being the wrong agency to arrest him and kindly turned him over to the appropriate agency who would surely be more then happy to slap him on the wrist for driving without a license.

The New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

I'm not an illegal, but I live in a country that is not my own. (Japan) This country has allowed me to work in a Japanese country and make the kind of money I could never have dreamed to make in The U.S. The best part is that as in trouble as Japan is, it's still in financially better standings on individual savings that The U.S. is. For this I thank you Japan. As for America; you will recieve my vote that will conduct you on how I think you should live your live under the president of my choice. Fuck you that think I should be allowed to do otherwise. Your opinion doesn't matter as the law says so.

Interesting comments folks.

I still can't tell what side of the fence Firefly is on.

BBA's statement is jacked up too. If you are legally in Japan I fully support your efforts, success and voting privileges wherever you are legally registered to vote in the world. If you had not entered Japan legally do you feel you should have be allowed to stay?
