Ok so, can somebody tell me why the **** it keeps telling me "demo/demo000.dm_1 was not found" when it's ****ing there in the appropriate folder, and I'm trying to play this from ModWarfare?
Move the demo file from
"...\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\demos"
to
"...\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\ModWarfare\demos\"

Cybopat's program is certainly nice though. I wouldn't call the recording in this game perfect however. For one, when you're calling in airstrikes, it doesn't show the little crosshair moving on the map. And two, the recording of your aiming definitely isn't as smooth or accurate as it is when you're playing. But, I'm sure the second one is just one of the sacrifices made to make the demo files so awesomely small.

Edit:
When I record with Fraps the audio gets out of sync. D:
I haven't tried fraps on any of my demos yet, but maybe set fraps to record at 60fps and set the fps cap in cod4 to 60 might be worth a try. Also try watching the video in multiple programs and making sure they go out of sync exactly the same. Maybe your player is failing to keep up with audio or video, especially if you're recording at some bigarse resolution or something.

I didn't mean they were perfect, but compared to UT2004 and UT3, these things are amazing.

Sound in demo playback seems a little off to me without Fraps.

Yeah it's all set to 60 FPS and half sized capture. I watched the video from both WMP & Winamp, and the sync is out equally. This probably isn't a player issue. I should try another recorder I guess.

The way TEK9 plays is rather complex, first of all he always know where the shots come from, like of you pick him playing in Vacant, if the shot came behind him, he'll prone down then immediately assault.

As for how aiming goes when he leave his aim down, as soon as a target gets in his FOV he just aim directly at the target. Like if you leave your aim on the side of the door frame, and wait for someone to show up, so your iron sight doesn't get in the view.

Meh. YouTube is either low quality or laggy. I'd rather download frag videos. D:

In fact, I have about seven gigs of them on my desktop right now because my second harddrive where I usually store stuff like that is running in PIO mode (ie 3.5 MB/sec -- verrrrrrry sloooooooow).

I gotta admit...THAT was ****in impressive as hell! how anyone can own using sniper rifle is beyond me, he knows EXACTLY when they are coming out which makes it alittle easier. Everytime i go to snipe someone the zoom takes forever and i am dead before i have got a chance. Sometimes those smoke shots are easy. People love to go to the same spot people died at so shoot there again and you got a kill, although i have not had a smoke kill in a while, i shoot at random times and hope i hit someone.

And they have good video editors.

Check out this one they did of Stevy. Pretty damned awesome.

BTW, aiming directly at someone as you scope/sight up is easy if you have a natural sense of your screen center. Easier on a CRT, though. D:

I don't, i need the xhair or i guess where it is at most of the time. I mostly miss because i guess instead of know.
