I never really thought of Capture as a part of PuF history. Then again, maybe it is.

I agree with CHRYSt about adding PuF in other games. Find me out of UT as Zaccix|PuF /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif

Thanks for the post, Kaine. It answers a very simple question I've been curious about ever since I found this forum a couple of weeks ago. I'm almost ashamed at my lack of deductive reasoning on this one.

Incidentally, this is a great community you've got going here folks. I've picked up some wonderful tips on a variety of topics, all of which have improved my UT experience by an order of magnitude.

Thanks for the history. My UT addiction is so strong that I had been just checking the Planetunreal as quickly as possible to make sure nothing huge was happening, then jumping right into the fray. I just discovered this forum and I've been reading some old posts, because I apparently have some need to know everything about this wonderful game. Anyway, I am now satisfied after reading your history and I can finally go to sleep. Oh, despite the fact that I am new in the forum, I do recognize some of your names from battle. I've played against The Rock... lets just say I know my role and I'll shut my mouth /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif Also, I believe I've seen Rooster at a large CTF server recently. Anyway, I look forward to playing with you guys tomorrow

I was very reluctant to add PuF to my nick, but did in the end and can say that I am happy I did. I have experienced PuF from the outside so to speak as I am an EuroPuF and don't usually come across any of the others.
plus I am a 56k'er.

All-in-all a good summary tho.

For those of us who are recent additions to PuF the history is great stuff. It also is interesting to hear you guys (and gals sorry Xylene!) waxing nostalgic about the good old days when you knew everyone...

As part of the new breed I hope you old timers continue to hang around... some of the new guys are "players" ...don't be afraid to hang with us...Who knows maybe PuF's best days are yet to come!
