I think U2 takes (great) advantage of cards with T&L, but doesn't require one to run. It'll probably run a lot slower on a non-T&L card (unless you've got an uber-fast CPU), but it should still run.Originally posted by ravenus
U2 at least in its first release requires a video card that can handle T&L - Transformation and Lighting, functions that deal with map geometry and lighting calculations which earlier to the GeForce were the sole responsibility of the CPU.
as the GF3's price should be lower by then.
