Ragnarok Online 2 Goes Unreal

According to a tip sent in by BeyondUnreal forum member, KSHMA, Ragnarok Online 2 - the followup to the world wide succes of MMORPG Ragnarok Online - will be utilizing the Unreal Engine. The Gravity (developer) website confirms this. KSHMA sent along the following additional details and the shot shown to the right:
korea game company "Gravity" curently developing PC MMORPG "Ragnarok Online 2"(sequel to Ragnarok Online) using the Unreal Engine 2.x(UT2004 or higher build version) and Enhanced Rendering(SM 3.0 rendering, Normal Map HDR, Dual-Core CPU support, etc...) and new AI system and new network system.

Close beta test SOON(korea, japan)

At least since Gravity got off their asses and corrected the spelling. The Engrish made the game. It would have made it worth paying for, too.

Weird. Ragnarok's different because its, err, kind of old-school looking without being ****ty as Tibia. I can understand them going 3d because "it looks better", but it kind of detracts from the originality of the game.

Oh well, MMORPGs are the devil's spawn anyways. :D

We can't see it in a bad way. At least, the engine improve and there is more and more business around it. More expansive horrizon in gaming it will be.

EDIT: oh wait, it already is.
