Memes and BuF today

Here are some things I've picked up while trolling reading the forums that I think relate to this thread.

1. Sometimes there are people that make really stupid threads. Sometimes it's best to just ignore a thread.

2. Most of the hate I see in the off topic forum come from two places: really stupid threads (see above) and threads concerning "news." The former I've already discussed, and the latter is bound to contain differing opinions that people are passionate about. Civil discourse is the best action regarding politicks, noose, and so-sigh-it-tea.

3. Meh, things haven't changed much around here. BuF is comprised of silly people that play rough and end up making newbies not feel welcomed. It was that way in 2002 and is that way now.

4. Never ever ever EVER expect good things to come from bad grammar. Your setting yourself up for disaster :)

5. Trying to force memes doesn't work. They happen.

It isn't just /b/uf it's most forums. It's natural with mainstream society becoming increasingly concerned with political correctness that there'll be a group of people that react so agressively. It's just free speech in action. I think it's great. And if you're looking for intelligent discussion on internet forums then perhaps you should find new people to hang out with irl. I'm not saying it's impossible to meet intelligent people online but there are some better options.

Seriously if you think this place is getting "messier" you should pay IRC a visit sometimes.
You'll understand. And who knows maybe get tamed by it.

From Ballin' to Igoy, "mons love", Hyru is a gay (duh), DarkEd high-5 himself, you got it all.
It's the best place to brag about someone you hate on the forums.

If the case is important enough it'll get it's own short meme.

Reading the OP I seriously thought about how I wanted to just post boobs and be done with it. But I got to thinking, all the boobs I post, the racist jokes I post, the "/thread" remarks I make, and all the Jackal bashing I do, that maybe its getting repetitive and that its what you expect me to post. So im gonna do BuF a favor and take a break by not posting as much.


I also think the 08 Crash did BuF OT in.
