Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
End of an era indeed... Though I'll be more sad when BU closes than PU, I still had memories going there. That was the first place I go to looking for UT mods & maps, and boy was I frustrated by FilePlanet. 
I keep hoping that this new BeyondUnreal site would host the mods instead and was happy when they finally did.
I did like the GameSpy site back around '99-2001 with the stuff Fargo did like Daily Victim of the Week and the flash based movies like CS remade into an afterschool special.
Other than that, I just don't bother with GS for a long while now, I don't even play UT online anymore...
