Original Fallout game is free on GOG for the next 48 hours

Same here, but it looks pretty on my GOG shelf :D

I'll get to it some day, probably this year (however, I've said this of all the other freebies they've had).
That hankering for old school gaming gets the best of very often, and while I have a lot of new games with a nod toward old school gaming that I haven't played yet, nothing beats the real thing.

now of course I could spare a half-hour.
but when a spare half-hour comes up, trying Fallout 1 is pretty much the last thing I would think to do with that time. a spare 30 mins usually = playing my guitar, making a phone call, or catching up on episodes of the few network TV shows I follow (I watch them online, not when they air live).

all I can do is explain myself.

I still don't see how clicking on "Add to Library" and never doing anything with it is worse than not clicking that button.

i hear there's a way to fix that. Can't remember what it is.
Something about creating a gog.com account, but then they send midget porn to your address.

hmm, there must be another way (unless you like midgets).
