What the ****, I just heard sound from u2xmp while watching few minutes of one goddamn trailer (wtf they released more of it?).
This game looks like some attempt to retarded "parody", no not parody at all it just doesnt make any sense or whatveer, I think they are thousand times worse than uwe boll then, although I have not watched any of uwe boll things.

Having played enough of the game to meet "Cranny" i can say that, yes - She is real :lol:

I can't decide whether its one of those three blokes who's voiced her, or whether they hired one of the pissheads at their pub to get in front of a mic.

Either way, the animation is all done in Poser , with textures that look like they were painted in MS Paint.

Dialogue / cutscenes are unskippable, and the voices are often unintelligable.

Your character is pre-rendered, and I get the impression that there isn't any true "3d" elements in this engine, whatsoever.

I have noticed various bits and bobs of pirated stuff like the Diablo interface, but i haven't come across any UT content.

I'll continue playing - but Im gonna go out and grab some beers, as this is not a game to play sober.

Status updates will follow as I push on to find more stolen gems :lol:

This game rocks :D

I think this is actually an exercise in making assets compatible across engines.
That, or a bet that one could make a game without ever doing any modeling at all.

I think we should be looking for content in the game that IS original.

Apparently there are tools that take a snapshot of information in the graphics card to send it directly to 3dsMax. Basically taking a 3D screenshot. That's what some guy I know told me, who is developing an open source engine.

Anyways, this whole thing is completely LOL. Unbelievable to stoop to such lows in a retail game. This isn't just one incident where a guy got lazy, but a systematic ripoff of multiple other games and even user maps.

Heh heh! No one thought it was shopped because of your cropping/resizing/optimising. it just looks shopped, look at the texture on the brickwork, the staircase, etc. It's obvious.
