And probably 11% of Americans got offended that some annoying academic called them up during dinner to ask them this single, inane question and answered “the United States won its independence from the country of My Ass.”
I'd be in that 11% there. Call me up while I'm having dinner and the last thing you're getting is a straight answer.
Is it really that surprising. What was that show that had people trying to find countries on a map and they couldn't even do that? 20 years from now we will be known as the United States of Dumb.
