I didn't know there was a third. While I admit my memory is bad, I don't think I'd have forgotten that so I'd say it has to be before... let's say 20th December 2000 at least. Darn, I could have had a third date in my sig.

EHy hippy, Don't remember you but i"ve been here a while.

I come and go for months on end and every time I come back there's still a community. There will always be games going on but TDM and COOP are the only real gametypes being played as mentioned..

However if you have clanmates or friends down to play and you can host a regular EAS night, than I"m sure you'll have a few good games going. Cheers and welcome back.

Hey guys, How is everyone doing? Well I found my UT CD (took a week to find it ;) ) got in installed and I'm ready to get back into INF :). Is there one good website where I can DL everything that I'll need. Cause I really don't wanna get any Mismatches when I try to join a server. I use to hate that back in the day. I'll probably have this done before anyone responds to this.

I hope to see some of guys on the server.

Mismatches are a way of life. ;) Anything that mismatches from the Community Pack will almost certainly be lightweight stuff anyway (bleeding mut, etc.) that won't take long to re-DL from a server.

I'd join in but I've been lazy and need to catch up on my pile of work.

Well everything is good now :) Played my first INF game yesterday since 06 I think. Wow, I've played a lot of shooters since then and INF still has something special that no other game has. I forgot how much I loved this game. :D

I loved this game too. Nothing else has come close to the visceral thrill of hiding behind a door with seven shots left in your pistol and a 2 minute deadline to cross 150m of enemy territory to an awaiting helicopter while a team armed with the latest and greatest automatic weaponry and voice-communication technology runs past in search of their lost CD. That heart pounding dash through the open street, taking fire from the enemy patrol, dropping grenades to keep those snipers blinded by smoke while your team mates run past you to engage the enemy and keep your back covered as the mission timer runs down to 15 seconds, 14... only 60 feet to go, run! RUN! 8... 7... 6... 5... 4...

Then you extract, the day is saved, nuclear disaster is averted, the people cheer. Or you get hit by a 20mm grenade from 80 yards away and drop the CD only feet from the extraction. Either way, nothing else has come close to that experience.

Saw the old UT go up on Steam, and that reminded me of INF. With a little help from Google, here I am! Haven't played in ages. Played under this nick and 'dive'

Guess I'll have to download it again and mess around.

Hello All,

I got an e-mail informing me of a PM at the Clan Territory Forums and I thought "INF! I havn't played INF in ages, I wonder if anyone's still around" and it looks like, yes. People are still around. so I'm downloading 2.9 right now and I'll get some play in.

Viva INF!

It's hard to get some good games in when most of players are from over seas. I live in the States, not only that but everyone seems to be into the COOP game types. That is good and all, but I like to play against real people not AI bots. Had a few good TDM's a few days ago, man that was fun :). I missed the good'ol days of EAS when it was like 10vs10... good times. :)

Wow, it's been a long time since I played INF, great to see some familiar names are still around. How's everyone doing? I spent a year '04/'05 without a playable network connection and never really got back into it. Got lots of stuff coming up in the next month or two, but after that I'll dig out the CD and see who's around...

(Maybe on my new laptop I'll even get >15 fps ;) )
