Hey I just purchased a game from steam and it automatically installed it...which I don't want. I want to download the game file and keep it. How do I do it?

Yeah. I don't see what the problem is here. If you want to make a backup of it, you can do that. But... what would be the point of having the game and not installing it?

Sorry to confuse you guys. What I mean is I want to have a backup so that I can play the game even when I deleted it and have no internet connection.
