NEXON Mobile, the developer behind Maplestory and Combat Arms is set for a November release of the UE3-powered iOS title, Combat Arms: Zombies.

Combat Arms: Zombies is based on the zombie infested cooperative Fireteam Mode found in Combat Arms, one of NEXON's most popular online FPS that has millions of players across North America and Europe.

NEXON Mobile has combined the gameplay of the original Combat Arms with diverse attack patterns of the 3D zombie mode, top-notch visuals and a variety of weapons systems. NEXON Mobile expects to provide users with regular content updates with the intent of delivering massive game content approaching that of the original online game.

Nexon is a publisher, not a developer. All/most of the games were originally developed in Korea. A small team localizes the game and customizes it slightly for each market.

MapleStory was developed by a team called Wizet, and Vindictus by DevCat. Not sure about the thers. KartRider and PopTag were also developed by a korean team before both were eventually pulled in the US.

NEXON MOBILE is the mobile game development and publishing unit of Nexon Group. Based in Seoul, Korea, Nexon Mobile was founded in 2001 with the mission to deliver incredible games across multiple mobile platforms. We have released titles based on smash hits such as MapleStory, Kart Rider, and BnB Crazy Arcade. Nexon Mobile is pioneering Korean iPhone game development with MapleStory: Thief Edition.
You know, that part where they call themselves a development and publishing unit of NEXON Group, is a bit misleading then, no?

It's like Activision or EA or CAPCOM. They have development studios under their wings, but those development studios appear on/in the games alongside Nexon's.

Nexon Mobile is also the mobile division, it's not the whole company. Nexon Mobile itself did not develop Combat Arms or MapleStory. "We have released titles based on smash hits such as MapleStory..."

All the games in the US are managed by Nexon America, but they are developed by individual studios in Korea.
