Installing Skins

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

ok, I am just wondering, how do I install and use skins. I have read around on some sites about this, and it says when I dl' a skin, it should have 2 files in it, a ini, and some texture file. But all the skins I have downloaded are one file.. a .umod file. I am wondering if anyone could gimme a hand on how to install/use the skins.. or am I doing something wrong?

I answered your other post, but here it comes again ;)

umods are self installing UT extensions, you should just doubleclick it and everything should install itself

if it doesn't work (doubleclicking) and your comp asks you for a program to run the umod with try the following:

Launch MS-DOS Prompt.
From the MS-DOS Prompt change current directory to the UT System directory.
From the MS-DOS Prompt type at command line following:
setup.exe install xxxxx.umod (where xxxxx is the name of the umod in question)

Press Enter.
