mutators in multiplayer?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

If it's a Umod installation than yes, otherwise you'll proly need to add some lines in the UnrealTournament.ini

Like

Serverpackage=Whatever your mutator is called.

You'll need to go into your unrealtournament.ini file (or ut2003.ini, or ut2004.ini, you didn't say which game) and find the lines that say "ServerPackages="

and then add the name of the U file of the mod you want.

For example, if you wanted to add a mutator called "FOO" into your game, first make sure all players have "FOO" installed. Then find the U file of the "FOO" archive. This will probably be FOO.u, as most U files are named after the mod. :p

So then you add a new line, and make it look like this:

ServerPackages=FOO

Just like that.
