I hope it wasn't because of that nifty little trick I did.

For god's sake, all it does is look for any picture on a floppy disk IF you have one in your drive...all it did was activate a program which everyone with a FDD has.

I suppose that sites which open another window are evil because they activate a command in your Internet browser

Did you remarked HTML is ON only for Infiltration forums ? It is because we (moderators) garanted a small and proper use of it. So HTML "tricks" is not welcome

Are you honestly telling me that it's better to have much spam spread of the forums than to have it all contained in one nice neat little package, all while people learned new HTML at the same time.

There's no such thing as an "html trick". It's HTML, or is isn't. Thats like giving me a gun and saying "only use plastic bullets".

I didn't see that thread as spam. I learned a lot of interesting HTML tricks from there. DarkBLS, it was harmless, out of the way, and not hurting anybody. For the first time ever, I have to agree with the others. You shouldn't have closed that.

Start one. enclose your html code with the [php ] [/php] tag to prevent VBulletin to run them.

The reason which really forced me to close it was the HTML content.
we are HOSTED with HTML turned on. If some BuF mod/admin see the content of this thread he can think some people will start doing some nasty HTML stuff in this thread and turn HTML off for us. I didn't want that.
So to prevent it, I closed it.

HTML ON is a security issue for VBUlletin. And we must keep an eye on the use.

The HMTML thread is a good idea. Start it, but prevent VBulletin to run the HTML code like

PHP:

<b>Test</b>

note: To call a mod a nazi is not a long-life way to behave anymore

I went into that thread with the only HTML I was able to do was and I learned

1>how to say Fuck without it being sensored.
2>How to make cool marquee tricks.
3>How to make cool span colors.
4>How to make words <table style="Filter:FlipH( ) FlipV( )">upside down.</table>
5>Cool button effects and multiple choice windows.
6>A few others that I cant remember...
7>And the #1 sweetest one....

I think you have a right to express your opinion but is the name calling necessary? Most of the people in this post talk about the "CS noobs" and there lack maturity but turn around and behave in the same manner that they be bitchin about.
