I've noticed a lot of people are posting the "freezing" problem with UT. Here is the fix:
1. Get DirectX 7.0a
2. Get the latest drivers for your GeForce
3. You also need the new revision 6.0
you can get it from unreals technology website: http://unreal.epicgames.com/
scroll down a bit, you should see dd3d troubleshooting page, go to it.
Scroll down a bit and you'll see the revision 6.0 d3d.dll file. which you need to download and plug into your UT/system folder.
After this UT should run fine.
