Thats nice leilei. The shirt seems a tad too low cut (I'm not familiar with the source material though). You're not the only one, but you are probably one of maybe 4 or 5 left (ParkisG is one of the few others I can think of).

I'm adding a few more vehicles to my Tango Down vehicle mod. A test ATV and a new Zodiac Boat shown below.

Something I haven't really touched in a long while. Also: That game code has been redeemed a long time ago. I don't know why that popped up.

You might want to edit out the bottom right of your screenshot before you lose your ability to play UT3 online, redeemed or not...

Getting back into the hang of things. Here is what I have done so far with the first room of what is going to be DM-ShamblersCourt (old Q1 DM remake):

P.S. - Judging by my avatar and sig, you can certainly tell what that bridge was modeled in, as well as almost all custom static meshes for this map. ;)

Ok, so it doesn't look like much right now, but I've started going through some ideas with the aesthetics of the map. It is playable, and I don't intend on meshing it anywhere other than the corner pictured just yet until I get the gameplay down.

I'm looking to pay homage to the 20th anniversary to Doom 2 coming up. At the same time, it's also the 15th anniversary of Quake 3 Arena, and well, 10th anniversary to Doom 3 (yeah, you can tell this is one big anniversary year for id's games).

Anyway, this is what I'm doing, and it should bring back the old level-style character of Doom 2, have the Deathmatch character of Q3A, and the soon will have the realism of Doom 3 all in one. :)

Hehe. I know, if only Adrian Carmack's textures were easy to rip from Doom 2. Now Quake's textures I was able to grab from TexMex and have exported to TARGA without any trouble. Not sure how Doom Builder and/or ZDoom would do this. Hmm...

@DarkSonny: Do you mean the FOV? Its kinda intentional:p Also actually I meant original as in completely self conceptualized/designed, so probably used the wrong wording there. sry

So I was working with Source for a while, but after dealing with texture and brush errors that I couldn't fix, I decided to come back to UDK for a terrain project. Just a little Island I'm making for fun. Found some free UDK assets on the webs that are pretty cool for a tropical island. This is very much a work in progress. Some terrain looks a little funky, cause ya know, it's terrain.

Hi; I dont know if the lightsource from skybox fits over amount of light in relationship with those lights from inside map, it does looks like false, dont take me so seriously cos I ddn't play this map. Whether the light is a dalylight and not cloudy somewhat they must be some light projection on floor or wall where the sunligh is strinking directly...if cloudy maybe there is some cast shadows and somewhat blurry lights and shadows. If is cloudy or sky is full darken clouds there is maybe some kind of no "light" or very tiny lightning

Maybe Im wrong its my impression right now...is a Dm map, isn't? Nice use of textures and meshes :)
