Hi.

I was just wondering if anyone knows Robes (or if you are robes even better!) and if he minds that I release a modified version of his Big Clapper level? I have made some modifications to lower the poly count, plus straighten out the level a little more (for example, there were a lot of misaligned textures, etc) as well as a slight re-texturing in some areas, some breakable glass. Not to mention some alternative routes into the house, and some sniper areas outside of the house.

Of course I will give him full credit for designing the actual level, but it is one of my favourite levels for pure fun factor, and I think the changes I have made will make it even funner.

Hehe well the way the level was designed, he used like 3 segments to create one wall... in the editor it was actually pretty ugly. It wouldn't surprise me if this was his first map. ;)

Anyways, I like the way it's coming and I'll be sure to let you all know when it's ready for playing.

I also intend to add to it any features that may pop up to make it just *that* much better when 2.85 is released.

Hey, why don't you convert it to INF while you're at it? You know, add footstep sounds, maybe improve bot pathing, etc. It would make a great map for INF 2.8+. :cool:

I love that map

The only thing that I can think of that that map had problems with was the bot paths. They just seemed to end and sometimes if I get killed early on. The bots will go through their paths and then stand at their destination. Like they have no where else to go. The funny thing is sometimes you can see one bot from one team in a window on the second floor and a bot from another team in the window right below it on the first floor. :D Oh so close.

I'm really excited about the other modifications your planning on making. I really like that map and am looking forward to seeing it. :D
