UT3 HOLP 2 preview

OMFG... This map looks like concept art - the ut3 model. I honestly hope if there is a new ut, the direction goes back completely oldschool like the maps you guys are making right now.

I've been trying to make a texture like that for a long time, I can't wait to dissect that thing in UeD to see how you pulled it off. Unless its just a really effing nice white texture.

Not to side-track the thread, but do you mean to say that static meshes themselves are bad, or the way that they are used?

Staitic meshes themeselves can be very useful. And look good too. But Static mesh BASED maps are rarely as good as BSP based maps in terms of gameplay. I think in an arena game like UT Epic should have stuck with BSP... They should have also stuck with the tournament insead of a war. And should also have stuck with awesome themes instead of generic factory's and facility's... But thats another thread. :D (I like the game really)

Loving the new Pics guys! Especially the windows in pic 2! :D

or maybe he has turned off "allow custom characters" this makes everyone the demo character on his game, a lot of players do this, very visible character!
