What will the basic story be?

Let's ask the serious question; did more story ever really help the Unreal Tournament games? The first UT sidestepped a lot of noise just by making it a reality TV show like Battle Royale of the future. No cutscenes, no Malcolm giving speeches, no revenge stories, no rebellion against some alien regime/dead people with guns through a series of Capture the Flag games (lol). Just give a guy a gun and tell him to look good on TV.

It should be a very intriguing story about the emotional highs and depths of the people from the 25th century, especially the gladiators of the blood stained arenas. Their pligths, grievances but unquestionably indomitable spirits which will lead them to victory, said being hundreds of millions of [liandri money] and breathtaking, shiny sprakling trophies on the mantlepiece.

And last but not least, the biggest surprise of all UT games:

The entire tournament, ranging from ut99 to ut3, has been taking place in a nalicow's ass
