UE1 - UT Export a Map without Resources

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Let's say I have a map that I have long deleted parts of... say classes and some texture packs. If I wanted to retrieve ONLY the brush info at the very least, is there a way or a utility that can export the brushes without needing those missing resources?

UnrealEd should be able to load the map as long as all packages (and I think also all classes) exist. If you don't have all packages anymore, you should be able to create dummy packages, e.g. by creating a FireTexture in a package with the correct name. You don't even need to save the package, it just has to exist when loading the map.
