I notice you guys keep refering to NIN and "they", but isn't NIN just Trent Reznor? Sure he has a band when live but he plays all his instruments on the CD's. I mean sience its all electronic its possible right?

As for |\| | |/|, refering in general would be he. The live band of nine inch nails is multiple people (ie danny loner, robin fink etc). So nine inch nails= he, NIN live=they or them or whatever.
